As I have mentioned like an age ago here, I was in St.Petersburg Russia last November. I was there for business so I didn't have so much time for sight-seeing but this was my second visit to the city. My first visit was on 2006 for totally touristic purpose and I mentioned to share some pictures with you on my previous post. So here it is around 2 months after the visit, late better than nothing, right :)
The city is just amazing, founded by Tsar Peter-the great; lots of canals, museums and parks around the city. Also; it has a duck close to Finland. Mainly, St.Peterburgs is being accepted as the most western or most European city of Russia. You can have more detailed information here; as I am not a history expert I am afraid to write or express something wrong. I just want to mention that; anyone who has a chance to visit Russia, should definelty visit because the country itself and St.Petersburg are real touristic attractions with their history.

Bir kaç asır önce burda paylaştığım üzere, Kasım ayında St.Petersburg'a gitmiştim. Bu bir iş seyahatiydi o yüzden çok fazla gezme şansım olmadı ancak bu benim ikinci seyahatim olduğu için; 2006'da tamamen turistik amaçla gittiğimde çektiğim fotoğrafları sizlerle paylaşacağımı söylemiştim. Biraz geç oldu biliyorum ama hiç olmamasından iyidir dedim ve bu postu hazırladım. Çok kısaca ön bilgi vermek gerekirse; şehir Çar Büyük Petro tarafından kurulmuş; bir çok kanal, müze ve parktan oluşan harika bir şehir. Finladiya'yla karşı karşıya sayılırlar. Genel olarak Rusya'nın en batılı ve en Avrupayi şehri kabul edilir:) Burdan daha detaylı bilgi edinebilirsiniz ama özetle eğer şansınız olursa bu şehri ziyaret etmenizi kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.
Peterhof Palace;
It is a combination of series of palaces, fountains and gardens. It is built on a very big area and not very close to city center, you need to at least spare one day for this gorgeous place! Further details are here.
Bu saray şehirden biraz uzakta yer alıyor; o yüzden bir gününüzü ayırmanızda fayda var. Bahçeler, saraylar ve süs havuzlarından oluşan ihtişamlı bir saray; daha fazla bilgiyi burdan alabilirsiniz. (açıkcası ingilizce linklerde daha çok fotoğraf var, vaktiniz olursa onlara da bakabilirsiniz)

Kazan Cathedral
This is most probably the attraction you will see first as it takes place at Nevsky Prospekt; the centeral avenue. The building has a shape of arc made of many columns and sculptures; sorry I have very limited pictures but you can find more information here.
Bu yapı muhtemelen ilk görecekleriniz arasında çünkü St.Petersburg'un en geniş caddesi olan Nevsky (caddesi) Prospekt'in üzerinde yer alıyor. Bir çok kolon ve heykelden oluşan yay şeklinde bir yapı; malasef link sadece ingilizce olarak mevcut, burda.
Palace Square
Basicly, it is the city center square; you can walk down from Nevsky Prospekt to Vasilievsky Island (a place you have to be again). There are always people walking around in old Russian clothes so that you can shoot a picture of yourself with them; of course you have to pay for that. The square is so large, I think it takes at least 10 mins to walk from one side to another:)
There is Winter palace at the down side of square which is one of the palaces belongs to one of worlds largest and oldest museum complex; Hermitage. I spare there only one day and it was definetly not enough. I will have another post about Hermitage, soon but until then you can find more information here.
Saray meydanı, aslında çok merkezi sayılır. Şehrin en geniş caddelerinden olan Nevsky caddesinden Vasilievsky adasına yürürken, bu meydandan geçmek durumunda kalacaksınız. Oldukça geniş olan meydanının bir ucundan öbür ucuna yürümek sanırım 10dk kadar sürüyor. Meydana cadde kısmından girdiğinizde; meydanın öbür ucunda Kış sarayını göreceksiniz. Bu saray aslında dünyanın en büyük müzelerinden olan Hermitaj müzesine ait dört saraydan sadece biri. Bu müzeye ben sadece bir gün ayırmıştım ama inanin hiç yeterli olmadı. Müzede çekebildiğim fotoğrafları yakında paylaşacağım ancak o zamana kadar burdan bilgi alabilirsiniz.

Saint Isaac's Cathedral
It is the biggest Orthodox cathedral of Russia with a gold dome. You can find more information here. There is also chance to walk up to dome and have the best view of St.Petersburg, 360 degrees. I did and spare a long time enjoying the view.
Rusya'nın en büyük Ortodoks katedralidir, çatısının altın olduğu söylenmektedir. Malasef yine link olarak Türkçesi mevcut değildir ancak arkasında yer alan Aziz Isaak meydanına ait linke burdan ulaşabilirsiniz. Bu katedralin çatısı belki de St.Petersburg'u 360 derece izleyebileceğiniz en iyi yerlerden biridir.

Church of the Savior on Blood
This church has amazing architecture with coloures and gold on domes. You should definetly go inside. I have hundreds of pictures for inner views of churchs and all are so magnificent. Mostly, when I look at them now; I am not sure which one belongs to where :) (Sorry I had really bad filing system back at 2006:) But for more information about this church; you can click here.
Dilimize Kurtarıcı Kilisesi olarak geçmiş olan bu kilise mimari olarak benim en çok beğendiğim kiliselerden biridir. Genel olarak elimde çok fazla kilise içi fotoğraf var ve hepsi birbirinden güzel ancak 2006'da dosyalama yeteneğim oldukça zayıfmış şimdi baktığımda hangi fotoğraf hangi kiliseye ait çok da çıkaramadığım için çok paylaşmıyorum :)
